Investigating UFO Phenomena:

UfOlogy is the science of the examination of extraterrestrials.  It is the study of Abnormal Airborne Phenomena.  It has, for a time, been striving to be embraced fully by the scientific society, however it has failed to do so.  Though UFOlogy is regarded as a pseudoscience, there are some college courses on the topic, from a folklore point of view.  The primary aim of UFO study and research is to discover the patterns following such anomalous occurrences by means of case studies, statistics and all that science offers.

The second step is to collect and study the data. The consistency of each witness to their observed phenomenon as compared to other phenomena is noted.  Psychologists evaluate the common features of each.

For the final stage, an explanation has to be made.  Physical evidence present that is also found in the surroundings, together with a comprehensive study of the witness determines whether an Unidentified Flying Object will be taken into consideration.

Not only is finding funding for this kind  of researchvery diffucult, seeking assistance from the authorities can also be quite taxing.  Laboratories have also been discouraged to work for these researchers.  All these lending to the bad reputation of UFOlogists.
